    Hello everyone,

I am currently having a problem with Sony Vegas Pro 12, regarding media being offline. Every time I try to load my project, it gives me the dialog box saying to either search for the missing file, replace it, or leave it offline. The problem is that I can not see these clips on my timeline to remove them, and the original video files that used were used have been deleted. I thought that if I selected the ignore media and leave offline that I would be alright because I don’t want to use these clips anyways, but now I can’t render the video.

Does anyone know how to get Vegas to ignore these files so that I can render the video, or how I can find them on my timeline to delete them?

Thanks for any help you guys can offer!

Find the off-line media in the Project Media pool and right-click on them and choose Select Timeline Events. That will select the events that use the off-line media. You can then remove them from the timeline if you don’t need them.
