    Hi,

Is it possible to have another layer appear over the top of the “Pan/Crop” Window when masking a different layer?
I am working with a green screen effect which burns the entire page and I want to burn from one clip to the next. This means that without the ability to see how the effect progresses over the top of my masking window it becomes completely trial and error for the exact masking points for the 2nd clip (the one being transitioned to).

I understand that this may not be possible and if so, would there potentially be a plugin for this or an alternative method?

Apologies if this doesn’t make sense, will post pictures if needed

    Regards, Sam

Vegas Pro doesn’t have multi-track composite editing tools. It only allows you to work with one track as a time as you have seen. The only plug-in that I know what will allow you to truly make multi-rack composites with masking is Boris FX 10 or the larger Boris RED. Boris FX/RED is both a stand-alone compositor and a plug-in for Vegas Pro that allows you to create complex multi-track composites.
