Ive seen plugins that key what moves, i need the opposite.

I remember back in 99′ that i was playing a video game with a web cam. The game keyed out the background and only showed me when i moved.
Is there a way that i can key out the background of something if the background is still?

Im asking because i was trying to film my reflection and i didn’t have a second green screen, so i just went ahead anyways just in case that i would be able to key out the back. The camera is on a tripod and it was filming at 1080P 30fps.

The Difference Matte effect keys out differences between a background plate and live action placed on top of it.

The difference matte is never the easiest tool to use, but will get you started. You may find a better result using an animated mask however. it’s a bit like rotoscoping, but not quite frame by frame.
