Sony Vegas Glitch… Please assist me :(

I don’t know why the preview does that weird pixelated thing. It actually turns out like that after I render! Its only at certain parts and its on/off. Large colored squares also pop up every once in a while too. Its a screen recording from cam studio by the way.
Please help, you have no idea how long I’ve been trying to get this one simple video done.

From your screen shot it looks like Vegas is having trouble decoding your video file. I can see the thumbnail on the timeline has the multi-color noise. Then again, maybe that noise is actually in the source file.

Its not the original file. I can play the file in any other program and its fine.
