  Audio slowed down when importing footage?

  When I import footage to work with the audio when I drag it to the timeline is slowed down and when I preview it in vegas. The actual files aren’t like this so does anyone know what’s causing the problem?

  First double check at the lower left corner of Vegas, that the playback
  rate is set to Normal Rate 1.00
  You can double click the little triangle.
