  Need 12:3 render

  I have to render a 16:9 video clip cropped into a 12:3 format. I have obtained a sample clip that is the exact format and brought it into the timeline and let Vegas adapt the settings I brought in my 16:9 clip and matched it to the output settings and let it crop.

  Now when rendering it out I set the MOV settings to custom and let it use the project settings. The resolution is 3840 X 720 and the custom settings will only let it goto 2048 that is why I chose the “use project settings” but it keeps rendering out a 720 X 480 video

  Any advice?

  Vegas Pro can’t render QuickTime files greater that 2048 wide. Use MainConcept AVC instead. It will allow you to create a custom frame size of 3840×720.
