  Budget Rendering PC

  Hey guys I wanted to build a pc to essentially be constantly rendering movies from Sony Movie Studio 12, not Vegas. Currently it takes about 50 minutes on my
  I5 2400
  GTX 550 Ti 1GB
  4GB RAM
  Windows 8 to render gameplay footage and footage from a camera together. Now I’m going to build this computer myself as I did for the one mentioned above. I’m trying to build it as cheaply as possible and want it to be able to render each video in 2 hours or less, where the other pc takes 50 minutes. The main components I’m looking for are CPU and GPU, I already have the RAM. Thanks

  I don’t think you’re going to get the render speeds you’re looking for with a budget build. The bare minimum i’d use, CPU-wise, is an i7 Ivy Bridge chipset and 16gb minimum RAM. Xeon CPUs are the way to go but with the accompanying motherboard you’re way out of your budget.
