OT: Realistic time to edit, using SVP 11 and Production Assistant
OT: I need help estimating a realistic time to edit a regular one hour weekly webcast using SVP11 and VASST Production Assistant.
What if I prepared, say, +/- 30 PowerPoint slides in advance, and sent them to the teleprompter (so I could talk about them), and also record the screen at the same time (using Camtasia)? And what if I then bring both the camera stream and the Camtasia stream into SVP11, synch them up, and then do a multicam edit using VASST Production Assistant?
About how long might it take to shift back and forth between the two streams with, say, +/- 60 fades in a one hour recording, and then apply a prepared intro, outro, and lower thirds, once one gets past the initial learning curves? (And how fast could a real pro do it?)
Is there a better workflow than that, without spending a ton of money? Thanks very much in advance.

I guess, about how long would it take a pro to edit a one hour presentation like that?
And how long would it take a mediocre editor (such as myself)?

You’re looking at 3- to 4-hours. You may have it down by half in 6 episodes.
