  • Is there any way to change the dimensions of the multicam grid?

Posted by Austin Brock on August 27, 2013 at 11:08 am

I edit a soccer video on a weekly basis from a game we play every Thursday, and use Sony Vegas to do this, however I was wondering if there was a way to manually set the multicam size.

I only use two cameras, so the current 2×2 grid leaves me with a rectangle black box at the bottom.

I was hoping something like this 2×1 box could be achieved instead (this is an edited image, fyi)…

Is there any way that this can be done?

No, there is no way to change the grid. 2×2 is the smallest it will go.

Use a second display and use the whole screen for the multicam preview. Caution – once you use multiple screens, you will never want to go back.

I already use two monitors, I was just hoping to utilize the space on the other machine.

Thank you both for your swift replies :).
