Project loads with back end of events all white then freezes when trying to touch them
Never got this before, folks. And, it’s frustrating needless to say, especially when nearing the end of a project. which is my case.
Any and all help is more than appreciated:
I have a project that Vegas is having trouble loading; that is, all of the files on the timeline don’t seem to finish loading…like it runs out of memory…so the front files of the project are fine…but the ones at the end…all of them… known good files…are all white. For a few seconds, at least, the white files will play video on the previous monitor but won’t show an image on the timeline. There is one file in particular that loads with a yellow border around it. I suppose that this border indicates that I recently added this file, when you touch it, Vegas freezes. I am unable to delete any of the white events or remove them from the timeline. What is worse, I don’t have an error message or anything else to to give me a clue.
Again, any and all help is more than appreciated.

If you have GPU acceleration switched ON, try turning it OFF.
