Fading opacity
Posted by Richard Milner on July 27, 2013 at 6:23 pmIs there a way to fade the opacity? I know how to adjust it, but I need to fade it going into my next segment but if there is a way I haven’t figured it out.
Grace abd Peace to you!

July 27, 2013 at 7:58 pmI suppose you could slice up the video sequence into however many segments have different levels of transparency/opacity (whatever it wants to be called), establish the level for each one, then just do dissolves between them (?)

Well, here’s an article worth reading – it’s quite Transparent and not at all Opaque.
OK, what are you trying to achieve?

July 27, 2013 at 9:31 pmDo you mean using Video Composite Level with points? Adjusting the points changes the opacity level.

July 28, 2013 at 11:33 amRight-click on the track and select Insert/Remove Envelope and choose Composite Level. This will create a composite envelope that can control opacity over time by adding keyframes.
