  Videos Not Showing In Vegas Only Audio Fix

  If you are trying to edit video from your Iphone .mov files in Vegas and it’s only showing Red in the timeline and nothing in the video preview and you only hear the audio, then it’s your updated quick time player that is giving you the problem.

  I’m using Windows 8 and I had the updated Quick Time Player 7.74 build.

  You will need to uninstall that version or any newer version and re-install this older version of 7.5 (861)

  I just tried it and it works great. I still see the video as red in the timeline, but I can see it in the preview video window. so I saved the quick time set up file to my server for others to download and not have to worry about spyware are other problems that you get when you download from unfamiliar sites.

  Uninstall you new version, re-install this old version and they reboot your computer and it should be working fine.

  Hmm.. This must be a Win8 issue? Win7 here and I just checked QT7.7.4 within a Vegas 12 test and both Video and Audio are working.

  Maybe others might wish to test their Win7 too.
