Go to 4 minutes and 11 seconds (4:11).

The first thing I wanted to know how to do was to have the 3D sources sit there while the video moves around like a camera would in an exhibit. The only way I know how to do this is the hard way which would be to move every single clip in the exact same motion, so it would look like they’re stationary, however, I was hoping there would be a simpler answer than that.

Second, I would like to know how I can repeat a clip’s video in a line like in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5qziKs4G-L8

Or to repeat the video to spread out over the screen (tiled) like in here: https://youtu.be/jXASzd3YBX8?t=1m
    Go to 1 minute (1:00).

    Thanks!
    Ben

Hi Ben, The majority of your effects can be handled by learning how to use Track Motion with Parent tracks. I have tutorials about this on my web site:

3D Parent Motion <– will give you the basics of moving tracks in unison

Parent Motion Filmstrip <– will show you how to line the videos up

Feel free to ask me questions here about either of these techniques and I’d be happy to help you.

NewBlue V6 also have a plugin called Tile which can do a whole variety of onscreen multiple images.

Thanks! I’ll be sure to check it out!

In the video, however, there are different pitch-shifting parts in the whole line. Can I select an already finished pitch-shifted line (there are usually multiple clips with different pitches) and cause them to duplicate side by side to make a line going across the screen?

And, how can I make the tiled effect? Is there any way I can do it without using plug-ins? I like to do things manually 😀
