I know this is a bit off the subject for Vegas but yesterday I was using two lav mikes on one camera. Both mikes were the same brand, etc. I had a fuzzy on my lav and my wife who was standing directly beside me was wearing the other lav but with no fuzzy. We were both facing the same direction.
When back in the studio I put the audio in Vegas but her lav had pronounced cricket (you know, the insects) sounds but mine was almost void of them.
Does the fuzzy on my lav mike cut high end sounds? I can’t figure why there was a difference in audio.

Shoot another test, but switch the fuzzy and see if the response is different. The fuzzy pad over the microphone can definitely reduce the highs, but that sounds like a lot.
