Vegas Studio 11 Randomly Swaps Audio and Video
I edit with Vegas Studio 11, and I have an incredibly frustrating problem with Vegas studio that seems to be getting increasingly worse.
Vegas is randomly screwing up my audio. It started with segments of audio that I’d ran through a noise reduction in Audacity randomly having sounds from other segments of audio show up in it. Out of nowhere, there would be 1 to 3 second long bursts of audio from another part of the film showing up in a clip. Then it escalated to full segments of audio getting switched with other full clips. It seems to only happen with WAV files, and it usually starts with files that have been exported to audacity for a static removal, an only on WAV files
The problem has now started happening to video clips. I’m seeing video clips randomly get replaced by other clips. It’s really, really weird, and I have absolutely no idea to fix it. It’s supremely frustrating. It’s making editing a constant battle and way more time consuming then it needs to be. I can fix the results of this problem, it just takes time. So I want to strike the root and actually get rid of the glitch.
Also, telling me to upgrade to Vegas Pro or some other program is not going to help me. It’s not an option right now.
