I am trying to use the Sony Credit Roll like a teleprompter.
Why is it such a resource hog? I’m trying to time the roll to a audio track and it’s almost impossible.
Does it really need to be 1000 frames per second? Can this be changes?
It bogs down my i7 like crazy but my system has no problems with HD footage.

I recommend that you use the right tool for the job. I use PromptDog. It’s not free, but cheap and it just works.

    Thanks Stephen
    It looks perfect!
This shoot I was filming myself doing an instructional video, so I was rendering the timed roll to mp4., so I could hit play and read. I was just surprised the Credit Roll Ate my computer for lunch when I was trying to adjust the timing. I just changed my project setting to DV NTSC to time the roll then back to HD to render.

That said, Prompt dog looks perfect for my other shoots!
    Thank You
