  Bad picture quality

  I have a mp4 video which I have uploaded in Sony Vegas Pro 12 and it looks terribly fuzzy. I have attached a screen shot.
  I’m not sure of the root cause.
  – Does the video need compressing before I upload?
  – Do I need to select a particular video format in Sony Vegas?
  The original video is clear. My worry is that the final edited version will be fuzzy!

  Change the video preview to best and then select full

  Yea, set the preview to Best (Full) or even Preview (Full). You have it set to Draft which as you can see if pretty fuzzy. Don’t worry, the preview has no affect on the final video quality.
