  Star Effect in Vegas 12 Pro

  Hi
  I am working on some technical animation videos. On screen are a number of buttons on a control panel. I would like to add a small star or something similar that represents a button being depressed. I have seen this effect in certain software educational videos when a mouse is clicked on a icon. Is there a simple effect I am not understanding that will allow me to add this in Vegas?
  Edit It seems there is a starburst image in New Blue titler, but that is very sluggish when trying to work with keyframes, and I would need alot of keyframes. Is there another option?

  Found it.
  Color gradient. Select elliptical ring.
  Shrink it and place. much easier then New Blue.
