  Sony vegas text won’t show up in preview screen?

  Hello! Please help me! I have had this problem for a few days and it is driving me nuts. So, when I go onto sony vegas (12) and i want to add font, I click on generated media and then type something into the box, but the thing is, it doesns’t show up in the preview screen, but video’s do. I have attached a photo so you understand better of my problem since I’m not at all great at explaining things.
  If you have any tips, please do suggest some as I want this darn issue fixed as soon as possible. Thanks:)

  1) check location of playhead in time line. When adding generated media the playhead will jump to the end of the event. You want it during the event. Also be sure video track is top track in timeline or other video will block it.
