Lags codec problem
I have recorded lot’s of gameplay videos lately. i use Dxtory and lagarith lossless codec to recording. Everything did work fine until now. I can view those videos, but i can’t import them to sony vegas 10 pro, it says cant open avi.
Gspot says that lagarith is istalled. I uninstalled all codec’s and sony vegas 10 pro using revo unistaller pro, then i manually deleted all registry settings from those codec’s. then i booted my computer.
Then i updated windows updates, istalled all latest drivers and booted again. im usin Win7 ultimate 64bit
Now Gspot says i don’t have lagarith installed, OK i install all codecs back and sony vegas, and it’s says again lagarith is installed. Still doesn’t import those files. couple days ago everything was normal.

Could it be that you are using the 32-bit Lagarith codec with a 64-bit version of Vegas Pro 10.0? The bit-ness of the codec must match the bit-ness of the version of Vegas Pro that you are using (e.g., you must use both the 64-bit codec and 64-bit version of Vegas Pro or 32-bit codec and 32-bit version of Vegas Pro)

I have installed lagarith from their own website. Installer says it’s contains 32 and 64 bit version. My recording files have 3 audio tracks. Couple days ago i did not have this problem. It just stopped working.one Solution is to reistall whole system but i dont want to bypass my problem. Solution would be nice so i know next time what to do

So what changed? (something had to have changed… software you installed? Microsoft updates? etc.) Do you have a backup from a few days ago? Can you use System Restore to get back to a few days ago?

That is problem bypassing.I never do system restore.I imported gameplay files normally and I didn’t update nothing,changed nothing, it’s just stopped working next day.There must be something really strange happened.I know a lot of computers/programs and how they work.This is first time i can’t find the solution, that’s why i registered here if somebody sony vegas master would have solutions, not those regular “beginners” “solutions” i already have tried.

OK, I guess we’ll have to wait for a “sony vegas master” to come by and help you. Sorry, I couldn’t fix it.

I just rendered a Lagarith and it has come out fine.
