Problems with Rendered Files – Text Shaking, Unstable video
Hello.
I have a problem with Sony Vegas pro 12.0
Whenever i render a video, the file always becomes somewhat unstable, meaning that text flys off, disapears and apears again, screen shaking etc. However it’s somewhat subtle, but it does make a difference to me.

Watch in 720p and fullscreen to see the problem easier. It’s not Youtube, the file has the same problems offline.

Could be you have a repeating Event length? Repeating Keyframes? Or a combination of both.
Viewing the Text Control would help to eliminate this. Any chance if a Screen-grab of the Controls from you?
The next thing would be to view the sampling rates of the video. What Build of VP12 are you using?

My current build is 486, it’s Sony Vegas 12.0 Pro 64-bit.
I dont know if it’s the case of bad editing, because the results of where the flaws show up are pretty much random, which is weird.
Excuse me, i am a bit noob at this, with a repeating event length, you mean a…looping video? The video behind the lyrics is looping, don’t know if thats the problem. If your asking me if it’s the only video on that track, and no other on top of it, it’s the only video on that track, theres no hidden events behind.
By repeating keyframe you mean two keyframes on an event timeline in the same spot? If your asking that, no, there is no repeating keyframes on the crop/text function, actually because i just did one text event or two and copy pasted them all the way through.
By text control you mean the generated media menu?

No, the Text Event. Is the Text in a separate Event OR an FX as part of the Video?

No, i havent used a previous build But i guess i will try.

Yes, correct.”The text is a seperate event

Could be you have copied Keyframes too?”Yes, in the Event Pan / Crop i made it on purpose so that the first key frame starts extremly zoomed out and a fraction of a second later there’s a frame with the default zoom. And yes, i copied that text over and over again.
The thing is, in the preview nothing goes wrong with the text!
Even when there’s no text or video the screen shakes which is really odd… i could show you the generated media but since without text or video it still happens i dont know if the text is the issue.

You wouldn’t happen to have an FX on the actual Track, in the Track Header? A Shake type FX? Have got any Shake at the Media Level?

No, i have no track fx in any track whatsoever.
I got you prints from the crop menu and generated text media, maybe you can find some clues?
Every single piece of text is like the one above, for the exception of the shaking text, that looks like this:
Also, i removed the background video looping and it still produces the weird shakes on the preview. However it’s pretty much random when it will “shake”. I pressed play on the same spot over and over again and sometimes it would shake once, sometimes it wouldnt shake, sometimes it would shake twice… its pretty much random!
Also, the text frame size and the project frame size is different, don’t know if the problem is there, because the frame size of the project is 720p and the text is 1080p
I dont know if i should say this, but my vegas is not a “official” vegas if you know what i mean… maybe that is the problem ?

Hey. Sorry for the Double post.
It’s not a problem of the build, i installed a previous build now and it still has that problem. It’s not a problem of the frame size either, because i tried matching frame sizes and it still had the shake problem…
