How to edit a video to fit 3 seperate screens in sony vegas
Hello! My church will soon be getting 3 screens to show for Sunday presentation. I’m making an easter video and need to know how to stretch/edit the video to fit all 3 screens. Here is an example of what i’m talking about (instead of horizontal it will be straight across though).

The example that you gave is a normally edited 16:9 video with mask on it. if I i were to do it I would just edit normally – this way you will have perfect timing for showing all 3 parts of your screen. After that I would just make 3 separate files with each part of the screen centered and the rest masked. Sound only for one of the three to make it easier. It is not a problem to make that video. Very easy in fact. The problem is to run those 3 parts with a perfect synchro. There is expensive software and hardware to do it pro way. But I am pretty sure that for the local church it will be good enough to set 3 separate dvd/bluray players (the same model would be perfect) and just 3 people could get themselves trained to run all 3 discs on ‘one, two, three…go”.

If all 3 players are the same and in the same location, one remote will do everything.

LOL, what a moron of me!!! it is i just haven’t done such a thing. i am sure i ‘d have figure it out as soon as i’d really started to wok on that 🙂

Thanks for the all the tips! We actually have Pro Presenter on our computer that we run all of our videos through. So, would I just edit it as normal and then size it as needed? How about the spacing? The thing I’m afraid of is that it would look stretched or warped in some way.

You will need to set your project to 16:9 vertical.
