  Errors?!

  Hey all – I do a lot of projects in C4D where I export the scene with compositing data and finish in AE. This (until recently) has been a very seamless and easy way to work. As of a few days ago, suddenly I can’t import any of .aec files. I just get a series of error windows (see attached).

  I really don’t understand. I’ve tried with new files, and I’ve tried with projects I did in the past that I know for sure work, and still I just get errors.

  The only thing that has changed between the time that they worked and now is that I did a system update, and I installed 3 new blank hard drives in my machine. I don’t understand why this would matter. I formatted the drives then started writing files to them. I have tried importing the files from all of my 7 hard drives and it doesn’t work from any of them.

  Any thoughts? This is very frustrating.

  I got it figured out. Apparently something happened when I installed the new hard drives. I’m not sure, but I backed up all of the files and re-formatted that drive, and now everything seems to be working all normal again.
