  • Audio sync problem rendering an HD 30 minute show

Don’t understand this one. I have a 30 minute show in 1080 that appears to be out of sync on playback after I have rendered it as an mp4. I went back and rendered short segments from various parts of the show and they look fine but when I render the whole thing it I see problems. I think it is just my computer playing it back wrong but how do I show the client the show if I can’t make a decent file to show them? This is the first 1080 30 minute show I have done so I am sure I’m missing something. Please, can anyone help?
    Thanks

George, I’ve been running into the same thing lately, but it may not really be there… Have you tried playing the MP4 on a different computer than what you rendered it on? I know that sounds bizarro, but I spent hours trying to diagnose why it was happening to me and everything looked fine when I happened to play it on another laptop.

    Maybe?

Yea, I dont think there is a sync problem, I just think the computer cant paly it back, when I skip around and just play a litle bit at a time it seems fine. I just dont know how to make a file small enough for a computer to play it back consistently. And I wonder if the TV station can play it back. Surely I am not the only one who has had this issue. What is the preferred file or encode to use for broadcast? who knows
