  Sony Vegas pro 12 edit wont open

  Hi all,
  Im new to Sony Vegas and I am having some trouble opening the program once it is installed. When i try to enter the program windows just stalls for a little bit and nothing happens. No error or anything like that pops up.

  I have made sure to load the correct 64-bit version for my windows 7 so im sure that’s not the problem.

  Any ideas as to what is wrong?

  Re-install Vegas and see.
  If it continues, make sure another instance of Vegas is
  not running in Windows Task Manager. If it is, just end the process.
  You can open Task Manager by right-clicking an empty area on
  the taskbar and then clicking Task Manager.

  Instead of opening your project inside Vegas, double click the veg file in Windows explorer before ever opening Vegas.
