Two unrelated quirks
1) Recently happening: when I properly exit SVP 12, the next time I run the program I get a requestor box that states, “The last session did not complete properly. You can restore the autosaved version of the project that was opened, but you should use the Save As command to rename it immediately. Would you like to restore the autosaved project?” I click No, and manually load the veg file I want to work on. Why is this happening??!!
2) Also recently happening: When I run SVP 12, the Master audio gain sliders usually docked in the upper right hand corner of the screen appear pulled halfway off the screen in this corner. My window layout screen has the correct view selected, as noted by the asterisk, so I just click this preference and the slider window pops right back into place.
I am not aware of any changes that I have made to SVP 12 that would cause these two anomalies, and as far as I am aware when I commence working on a project there are no ill affects caused by them. Work seems to go on fine (of course, relatively speaking with Vegas, LOL).
Any thoughts, suggestions, cures or the like?

I have occasionally gotten the did not save message. In fact, sometimes I get a crash message after terminating Vegas. As long as I saved the veg file successfully, I simply ignore these messages.

It’s kind of hard to find, but try turning off the Windows Write Cache. In Control Panel/Computer management/Disk Management, right click on the physical drive your saving the project into (not the partition), and select properties. Click on the Policies tab and you can turn off write caching.
