  Wind affected wedding

  HI,

  I filmed an outside wedding on an extremely windy day. I used a lapel mic, and a ZoomH2 but the sound is dreadful. On the zoom I can only hear wind.

  I tried cleaning up the lapel sound in Audacity, and it is better but still not great. There may be better parameters to use?

  I’m not very audio savy as mostly our audio is perfectly clear.

  I use a program by Sony called Spectral Layers. I was able to take the sound of chirping crickets and leave only voice on one of our programs.

  Roger – I shoot dance recitals once in a while, and they frequently have some tap dance numbers. I use a couple of boundary mics on the stage but I wonder if Spectral would let me isolate the taps and enhance them?
