    Hello
I was using Quicktime animation for animation sequences to be imported to vegas (10). I am now switching to PNG Sequence. Anything I need to be aware of. I have about 20 minutes of animation for this hour long project 1920x 1080. Will this bog down Vegas at all? I am running a i7 2600 3.3 gig, with 8 gig ram and three SATA internal drives, 2 for video and animation playback and one to render to. I don’t use plugins, It’s pretty much cuts dissolves and titles. Will a SATA to play a PNG sequence be fast enough or do I need Raid?
This system has been smooth thus far with HD footage and Quicktime animation codec, but will the PNG file change that?
Is there a max recommended ” Clip ” length? (Right now I do 44 sec clips at about 1320 HD images).
I’m asking now because I would hate to render all this (days) and get into editing only to find a quarter way in the project life is awful.
    Any warning?
Thanks for any advice you may have.
    Brad

Vegas loves and works well with anything in the png format,
So you wont have any issues. When there is an option for it,
thats the format i prefer to use.
