I am still a newbie at authoring blu-ray disks and I’m a little lost on what I should chose as the output format. I am using Sony Vegas Pro 12.

I have four videos – all different. I have everything synched and mixed on the timeline. I assume I have to output to the lowest aspect ratio in order to get the best quality – so that would be 1280X720?

I see HDV 720-30p as an output file option, but my understanding is DVDA will not accept that.

The blu-ray output options, however, don’t offer 1280X720.

I see the format Sony MXF and it includes HD EX 1280X720 -24p / 50p / 60p. But after reading about the MXF format – my understanding is that it also isn’t acceptable in DVDA.

Obviously – I’m a little lost. Any help/suggestions are greatly appreciated.
