Activity Forums VEGAS Pro Green Screen Question

    Hello again,
    I’m playing with Green Screen.
The issue is: I do not have a wide-enough or long-enough greenscreen material to cover the total width of the (final) video frame as-shot. About 25% of either side of it is…the “studio” wall. Yet I need that width (and also height, in some cases.)
My question is: How do I configure or manipulate Vegas so that I can have green all the way across?

    Thank you
    John

Buy a larger green screen. There is no magic here, you either have a green background or you don’t. Buy a second green screen and cover the entire area you need to cover. Vegas cannot help you if you don’t have a background that suitable for keying.

If you mean that the shots are not using that extra 25% you just need to have the camera back that far then you can use a Mask in Vegas to cut the sides out of the frame. This will remove everything in that 25% area leaving only the green screen area.
