    Hi all,

I downloaded the trial copy of Movie Studio 12 Suite — I’m still just getting up to speed, but quickly wanted to confirm that I got the right stuff.

The downloaded installer gives me options for Movie Studio, Sound Forge, and DVD Architect.

But where do I look to confirm that I have NewBlue 3D Titling and Video Effects, the iZotope Vocal Eraser, and the Red Giant Quick Looks?

I just want to be sure I actually have the stuff.

    Scott,
    try these links
    https://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/updates/moviestudiopp
    for MBLooks and NB FX
    https://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/updates/soundforgefamily
for Izotope VE plug-in (under SFAS 10)
Remember to choose the right version (32-bit or 64-bit).
You’ll get the download links again and qualifying serial numbers plus Soundtracks and Tutorials DL links in the order confirmation e-mail, if you decide to purchase.

NB FX installation trouble reports now though

Oh, thanks! I had assumed the Suite packages would come with the Suite Trial download. So I was a bit puzzled because I couldn’t seem to find any of it.

So to actually get the complete Suite, I have download the Suite and then also separately download Magic Bullet, NewBlue, and Vocal Eraser? (Nothing else, right?)

Two quick questions if you have a sec:

    1) I know some applications bundle sort of junky 3rd party software — are those extras “good” or “sort of junky”?

    2) I installed Sound Forge via the Suite installer — is there any reason I should have installed it via that dedicated Sound Forge link?

Thanks again, I didn’t realize I had to download these in addition to the Suite download — I appreciate the help.

    Scott,
    1. I don’t find anything ‘harmful’ in MSP, but how useful the plugins and extras are is up to what you need of course. Personally I think the Suite is good value.
    2. Should not matter as far as I can see.

Thanks again — via the download links, I have all the installers — and docs for Suite and Magic Bullet — are there also docs for NewBlue and/or Vocal Eraser?
