  vegas 10 and video effects

  HI, Using Vegas 10 and all was going well. But then the Video Effects ceased – no “Bright/dark” nothing. I have looked for a button to switch it back on but then uninstalled and redownloaded from my Sony Account. Still didn’t work. So I system restored. Any thoughts?

  First step, look above the Preview Window and you will see
  an icon named Split Screen View, make sure its not selected…

  The split screen feature allows you to do before-and-after comparisons to see the effect of your effects, so to speak. You can also have half of the screen with effects enabled, and the other half “original”

  You’re welcome Andy. As Matte pointed out, it is a very handy
  feature once you know whats it really for.
