Poor Video quality after rendering
I am currently using Sony Movie Studio HD Platinum 10 and whenever I render a video, pixelated blocks appear at places where they shouldn’t be. Here’s an example of the video after rendering: https://i1084.photobucket.com/albums/j410/Gamekid263/video.png

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vl8QtfSU0IYI have tried the video on GOM player (no audio working for it) and Windows Media Player and they all have the same if not similar results. How can I get rid of the bad quality?

Do you have any Codec-Packs installed like K-Lite? This could be your problem. You should be getting excellent quality out of Sony AVC at 6Mbps if you followed the video precisely.

Is this k-lite codec can drop the rendering quality…the first time i buy my working station..i install the k-lite codec pack and kite-lite 64bit….then should i remove the codec from my working station.Pls adivice me sir.

I don’t have k-lite codec installed, but I do know I have several codecs on.

Hi Thayalan, Yes codec packs will replace the high quality codecs that you paid Sony good money for with lower quality “free” codecs. It is never a good idea to install a codec pack on a video editing PC for this reason. It really messes things up. I would uninstall it and re-install Vegas to re-establish the codecs that came with Vegas.

Could you post screen shots of both your project properties and your video render properties? It would help to see exactly what you are using.

Today i will uninstall the k – lite codec to improve my video quality.
Thank you very much for your adivice sir.i am improving from your adivice and sony vegas forum.Sir for avi file i use quick time player and the icon show me guick time for (SD),how about m2v file (HD).What player i must use and the icon should be…..currently my hd stream all in window media

For AVI files you should use Windows Media Player instead of QuickTime because AVI is the native format of Windows. M2V files are video streams without audio intended for Blu-ray. You should be able to view them in Windows Media Player as well.

Is it visually flickering or is it stuttering because your PC can’t keep up with playing MTS in real-time? There may be nothing wrong except that your PC is simply not powerful enough to playback these files at full frame rates.
