Is there a way to color correct an image or clip in SVP 11, then add additional masks to spot color, contrast, or luminance correct individual areas within the image or clip?

I know in some professional color correction tools like Davinci Resolve or Finesse you can.

But does SVP 11 allow you to do that?

You have to add a copy of the still/event for each new area that you want to modify, go into Pan/Crop and use the Bezier Mask tool to isolate the desired section and then apply the FX.
If it’s a video event, then you have to worry about keyframing it if the affected area moves around.

Vegas Pro 11 does not but it looks like Vegas Pro 12.0 will. From the Vegas Pro 12 Coming Soon page:

    New! FX Masking
Mask an effect rather than the image itself. This is particular useful for quickly blurring or pixelating an area of a video clip, to hide a logo, license plate, or a person’s face.
