  memory out on a comp. that did work

  ohh noooo!

  (i have to start it like that!)
  I am working in 720hd and i have just finished a neat little comp to introduce a mountainboard video.

  For some reason i get a memory out error (even with motion blur turned off) the error looks like this:
  
  my memory settings are currently like this:
  
  but i have fiddled with those as well

  the images were large but i resized them to less than 1000px longest side all source images are .psd format
  i have got some 1080p video in there but it was doing fine with that until i got to the end where i did a nice motion title with images, this looks like :
  

  Im running a macbook pro with 3 gig ram

  Try a reboot and see how things go. If that doesn’t help then you can also resize the PSDs; export; and reimport at the ideal size. What’s the ideal size? Just select the layer and hit the S key to view its Scale property. Look for the point in time where the scale value is the highest. You may need to look at its value graph. Move the Timeline indicator there and then right-click on a keyframe (if there is one) and select change values. In the ensuing dialog window, change the view from % to pixel. This is the value you need. You may want to add approx10% to this value as a buffer.

  You could also resize the 1080 footage into 720.
