Any Red/Cyan 3D enthusiasts out there?
I have been using the 3D feature in Vegas to create some really fun multimedia presentations (ordered the Red/Cyan 3D glasses off of Amazon).
The one issue I run into is maintaining the color accuracy enough to get the full 3D effect. I am using a (rather old) digital projector, playing a DVD. I find using a DVD player with composite input really dulls the effect. DVD playing out of a VGA input helps, although nothing is quite like playing something straight out of the Vegas timeline. If you haven’t tried it, the 3D effect really works remarkably well. The only problem there is the notoriously laggy Vegas Video Preview.
So, I am wondering if anyone else out there uses the 3D feature and what tips they might have for presenting 3D videos. It really is a lot of fun and I hope and pray Sony continues to keep this feature in all Vegas releases.
