  pro type titler perfornance

  When I add a simple pro type titler layser to my current project (composite) performance is soooo poor that I can not preview. Playback skips and misses so many frames, it’s not viewable.

  Is this a normal performance issue with this “media generator”?

  Seems like If I use the simple “titles and text” all is well.

  Pro type titler is not too fluid indeed.
  I just mostly use the simple titles and text
  and after effects to do my Titling.

  I agree with Steve.. pro titler is anything but pro. Even the resident geek here dumped it ages ago. AE is the way to go.

  Windows 7 Pro64, 16GB RAM, SSD boot drive, GTX 570 Graphics, Vegas Pro 11 and VP10 just in case
