  Vegas generating new project files automatically. Is there any setting to avoid it?

  Hi,

  For instance, I have the project file:

  => Test_Project_1

  Sometimes when I come back to the folder where the project is storage, the name was changed automatically to something like that:

  Test_Project_1 [2012-07-13_09-43-21_PM]

  Does anyone know why this happen? (sometimes Vegas 11 crashes, but I don’t know it is the cause…).

  Is there any setting that could avoid it? I mean, I don’t want Vegas creating files over files…

  Not anything Vegas would do. What’s the file suffix?

  The files are Vegas project (.veg)
  The add [2012-07-13_09-43-21_PM] sounds to me as a security copy, but it is not clear indeed.

  Hi,

  This .veg files + [2012-07-13_09-43-21_PM] is an auto-save option provided by the plugin “Timeline Tools for Sony Vegas Pro”.
  This is a free plugin that has many features and I hadn’t realized it was one of them working together my workflow.
