    I’m running the project of a 6TB G-Raid e-Sata drive.

I’ve seen tons of people on the web having the same problem. I uninstalled quicktime? Still crashed. Re-installed quicktime. Still crashed. Tried the e-sata drive internally on Sata. still crashed.
Tried it on a dual core machine thru USB and it did not crash? But could not playback well cause it being a dual core? I’m ready to do a fresh re-install and I do not know what is causing this? Been working on it for 2 days….

    Ralph,

Are you using any NewBlue plugins (audio or video)?

I have had this problem this week after upgrading essentials 1-4. My systems were rock solid.

Have you tried the trick of running the vegas.exe in Vista compatability mode? If the source of your constant crashing comes from the OFX plugins finicky nature with varied equipment and/or the 32 bit math calculation errors this trick gets rid of ninety-five percent of Vegas crashes (although it adds a few annoying problems… but at least they are not crashes.)

I would update Vegas Pro to the latest 64bit build – 683.

    Cheers for now,
