  Sony Vegas Pro 11 could render better than Movie Studio Platinum 11 in MP4 format

  I rendered my 1-hour video in the format MainConcept(MP4,Variable Bitrate,2-pass (Upper Field First)1920x1080Full HD, 60i or 30fps, in Vegas Pro 11, and it turned out better than I rendered it with Movie Studio Platinum 11 under same format and same project properties. My question: does the Vegas Pro 11 have better rendering output than the Movie Studio Platinum 11?

  Also, with the same format specs, is Sony AVC(MP4) rendering inferior to MainConcept (MP4)?
