Activity Forums Adobe After Effects stupid question, but how do you flip flop?

    Not sure if I’m understanding exactly what you need, but you can scale to negative values.

    Select the layer you wish to flip, Hit S to rollout the Scale attribute, unlock “constrain proportions” thingy (next to the 100,100 values) if you intend to only flip vertically or horizontally. Then pop in a value of -100 where appropriate.

    Or … if you want to flop the image horizontally, but still be able to scale it up and down easily, flop it first by entering a scale width of -100 under effect>distort>transform.

    (or enter -100 for height for a vertical flop)

    Then you can scale normally.
