Could Adobe Flash be used together Vegas Pro 11?
Hi,
I need to develop some simple animation to be used together video. As video editor I am using Vegas Pro 11.
Besides After Effects be mentioned as the “number 1” animation tool for video, it seems to be very complex to the animation project I intend to join to video.
So, I am thinking on using Adobe Flash CS5 to create animation and join it to video using Vegas Pro 11. It seems to deal with Flash is easier and simpler than After Effects. Actually, I have not used any of then yet… Most information I found in the web mentions that Flash is a tool for the “web” and After Effects for “video”.
Then, I am not confident whether to use Flash and whether it is compatible and could provide good output working together Vegas.
Could it be a good idea?
Besides the usage I mentioned, what more could Flash CS5 provide to be used into Vegas Pro 11?

I would suggest you invest in after effects instead, if you intend
to do this long term and properly…..Its not as complex to learn

Many thanks for your motivational reply!!! After that I am really considering After Effects as a way, since I am being evolved by video editing each time more.
I would appreciate help for a further understanding. I realize that “Boris Graffiti” could provide some animation tools (including chart animation) and thinking on having it as Vegas plugin. Is it worth having as a handy tool for animation? Or should I go directly to After Effects without lose more time?
And considering After Effects, is it handy to use together Vegas Pro 11?

Yes i would also go with the recommendation of BorisFX plugin
for Vegas, but not Grafitti, go with Boris Red instead, it has
everything including the kitchen sink and more and very stable as well.And yes After Effects is very handy to use with Vegas Pro.
Both are a bit expensive, so if you are limited in your budget,
i would recommend you simply grab After effects first and go
online and watch and practice from the hundreds of AE Tutorials thats
available online….The first place i would guide you to in learning
the basics is https://www.videocopilot.net/basic/#01In two weeks i guarantee you will feel at ease in after effects…lol

I would appreciate a last opinion by you. As I am newbie on all of it, in an try to prepare my tray of available tools!
I realize Corel provides VideoStudio Pro X5 Ultimate with a plenty of extras (including BorisGraffiti, NewBlue, and more bellow). And the price is very cheap.
In the same way of dealing with After Effects + Vegas, do you think it would be possible to use Corel VideoStudio + Vegas?
For instance, I like Newblue “watercolor” effect on footage. Just this effect bought directly from NewBlue as a Vegas plugin is more expensive than Corel VideoStudio bundle. So, when need I would edit/render something in Corel and than use in Vegas…Cheers,
