  Sound default-out not mapped to Vegas input

  Previously with Vegas 8 on XP we were able to record, for example, the output from iTunes onto the timeline by simply setting up a timeline record and hitting “play” in iTunes (or a web page or the mic).
  I’ve upgraded to Win7 and to Vegas 11. iTunes does not wiggle the VU meters, only the mic does. The mapping from “default out” to a Vegas input appears not there anymore. What do I need to do?
