error 17::18 – yep, that old chestnut!
OK, this error has existed in this project for a good year (no one can remember where it came from or exactly when!) but in AE7 it was just an irritation – popping up occasionally when scrubbing or when changing between 8bps and 16bpc.
But now we’ve upgraded to CS4 and saved off a CS4 version of this project to carry on working on the error message seems to come up MORE frequently and when it does it won’t go away!!! You OK it and it comes right back up…forever! Only way to get out of it is to force quit AE and then reboot the machine to shake off AE fully (it won’t even force quit properly)
Obviously this is a pain in the preverbial, so anyone got any ideas!??
We’ve been through the whole thing and checked frame rates against comps, etc and they’re now fine. But still the error.
Any help REALLY REALLY appreciated!
