Running an 8core Mac, 10.5.7, Quicktime 7.6.2, AFX 9.0.2, Blackmagic Driver 7.1.2. Wondering if anyone has experienced this. Since upgrading to 9.0.2 and 10.5.7, After Effects displays 10 Bit uncompressed footage as static if it is used in a composition. If you double click on the footage in the project window, it can be played fine in the window that comes up. But the thumbnail, and any usage of the footage in a composition, looks like analog TV static. Footage using other codecs in the same composition do not exhibit these effects. This is only a problem in After Effects, FCP plays all the footage just fine. Anyone with any similar experience?

It looks like it has only affected the project I was working with. The same footage in a new project behaves properly.

i haven’t heard of this, but since the footage seems fine in a new project, try importing the project in to a new project. this will keep all your comps and effect settings and, of course, re-import all the footage.

hopefully that will be enough to get your project working correctly.
