    Hey there,
I am new here so please forgive me if I break any forum rules or etiquette. I am also new to vegas so I am learning as I go. I am using vegas pro 10 just so you know what I am working with. Here is my problem…

I watched the tutorial here on creating lower thirds in PhotoShop (cs5) and followed all the directions. I created the alpha channel with the background turned off. When I am looking at the lower third in my project it is perfect. The background is transparent and fits perfectly on the screen. The problem occurs when I pre-rendered the section with the lower third in it to see how the transitions (push right and push left) looked. When I watched the pre-rendered section suddenly a white background appears and covers up the main video track.

Why is this happening, will it show in the final render, and how do I fix it? Thanks in advance for your time and response.

    Chris

It shouldn’t show up in your final render.
What you can do is simply render out a piece
of the project where it is, and play it back
in your media player to see.
