I recently upgraded from Sony Vegas 9.0 to Pro 11.
I am trying to render a simple project into a MPG-1 (NTSC DV (720×480, 29.970 fps). Everytime I try a rendering,
the quality output is next to horrendous looking. I’ve been using Vegas on a amauter basis for years, and never had this problem.
Can not figure out if I perhaps have it on an incorrect setting.

In the custom settings, I have the following:
    ASPECT RATION: 0.08889
    I-FRAMES: 15
    B-FRAMES: 2

In the format box, it reads the following:
Audio: 224 Kbps, 44,100 Hz, 16 Bit, Stereo, MPEG
Video: 29.970 fps, 720×486 Progressive, YUV, 1,150 Kbps
    Pixel Aspect Ratio: 0.913

I do have “video quality” set to high.

Can anyone tell if I am missing anything with these settings??

    thanking all in advance,
    Joe
