  Smooth DVD

  I have Vegas Studio Platinum (Trial)

  I have a Panasonic HD HSD700 camera. which does 1080 p50 AVCHD video,

  I have created some very nice HDD files using Vegas, but the DVDs are …OK.

  I have been asking on another forum and had a heap of suggestions that got rid of the major problems that I was having, but the final result is less than I would like. The same goes for every converter/dvd authoring programme I have tried so far.

  The annoying thing is I know it can be better. I used Panasonic’s own HD Writer and the DVD output was really really good: very smooth and flowing, compared to other programmes.

  So what I am looking for is a way to optimmise the DVD output from Vegas, just to see if I can that bit extra.

  I do understand the overall process of developing the interim file in Vegas then using DVD Architect to produce the VideoTS and AudioTS folders and DVD files. I do have the programme giving me as good a result as I have seen from other software. I just wonder if there is something….

  Thanks for the reply.

  All that is interesting and I will definitely have a read. But I was asking for was more Vegas/DVD Architect specific. I _may_ be able to use those specs to see how to get there, but of course a nice simple “best way” would be nice. I have spent many days trying to bet it better already.
