  Rendering Question

  I’ve got to render a short film out by tomorrow evening, so if you could help me out that would be amazing!

  The footage was shot with the Canon 500d/T1i, at 20fps 1080p. I have tried render samples in both Vegas Movie Studio 9 several times and it kept coming out with horrendous lag on the clips. I have now also got Sony Vegas Pro V11 and am desperate to know what the best rendering settings would be! I obviously want the smoothest HD quality possible, but I am prepared to downgrade to 720p if needs be to get rid of the awful lag and jerkiness.

  The festival the film is for need the file as a .mov, but I know that it is basically impossible to get a good mov render on Vegas right? So a wmv or similar file would be fine as long as it’s smooth!

  PLEASE HELP 🙂 Slightly distressed by all the rendering mularky!

  Could we get some detail about how this is going to be played? Say DVD, PC, or youtube?
