  I started to post an inquiry about a couple of gigs, but wasn’t sure if it’s cool to pose the question on this forum.

  Yes, it’s OK to post this on the Creative COW but you should click on the SERVICES tab and make a Job Posting. That’s where people are going to look (not on the self help forums like these).
